Here are Argentina's final 23 players selected for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Super Eagles group D opponents Argentina have called up Lionel Messi and 22 other players in their final list for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Head coach Jorge Sampaoli selected his 23 players to represent the country at the World Cup with one major surprise exclusion Mauro Icardi who finished the season as the Italian Seroe A top scorer with 29 goals.
Only eight members of the 23 players selected participated at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil where Argentina finished runners-up.
Argentina are drawn in group D of the World Cup alongside Iceland, Nigeria and Croatia.
